1. What is 'my AP' portal?

It is a single point of access for all digitalized and digitally transformed services provided by Government of Andhra Pradesh to the citizens and businesses.

2. Why should I enroll on this portal?

Enrollment enables the users to access and avail all government services online.

3. Do I need to register?

Yes, you just need to enroll using your Aadhaar number. Alternately you can register using email and phone no. but in such cases you need to perform eKYC verification. For more information on Registration you can refer to the Help (https://myap.e-pragati.in/help) section

4. Should I fill in long forms to register?

myAP provides a very simple registration process. User just enters Aadhaar number to register. This should be taking less than a minute.

5. What is the difference between meeseva service and my AP service?

Meeseva services are can be availed at Meeseva centers and few of the services online. myAP service is a unique service delivery platform providing Government services instantly online .

6. Can I access these services from a mobile phone?

Yes, mobile number can be used to access the services.

7. I do not have an Aadhaar number. How do I access the service?

Aadhaar is mandatory. Please register for your Aadhaar number to avail the services from myAP.


1. I hear a lot about 'g2c' services. what does it mean?

Government to citizen services panned across departments eg: e-Admission.

2. How is meeseva service different from 'my AP' service?

All myAP services are instantly delivered whereas not all meeseva services are delivered with timeframes/SLAs.

3. I hear a lot about 'g2c' services. what does it mean?

4. What does 'g2g' services mean?

government to government services. with in government / inter departmental / inter-governmental. Typically users are government representatives.

5. What does 'g2b' services mean?

government to business services panned across departments. eg: approval for starting a manufacturing industry.

6. Will these services make my life easier?

Yes, the services are simplified and can be accessed with less fields to enter and lesser no. of clicks.

7. What kind of services I can access and avail?

All g2c, g2b, g2g services. Services will be activated and made available as and when ready

8. Can I expect that my service request will be delivered instantly?

Yes, largely but some of them will take more time but you will be notified.

9. Is this portal replacement to meeseva online ?

No, it complements meeseva. Infact all the meeseva services will be made accessible through my AP portal.

'my AP' portal is built for delivering demanding services for deserved citizen with zero touch point to government office.

2. What are the benefits of 'my AP' portal?

easy identity of citizen, with single sign on to access all Government department services through simplified processes.

3. How is this different from department portals ?

This shall be the first point of contact to discover all Government services/data and shall be an information gateway to citizens & residents, government officials, businesses and non-residents.

4. Will I still have to visit a Government office to collect the certificates / prints for the applied service online ?

No, digitally signed documents / certificates will be available in your my AP portal account. Easy to access from mobile too.

5. Can I apply for a Government job through this portal?

Yes, if the respective department chooses to provide 'apply for a job' as a service.

6. Is it secure to make payment online?

Yes, it is absolutely secure and safe.

7. If I submitted wrong details while filling the form, how can I change it?

You may edit/update/resubmit.

8. Can I track the status of my service request?

Yes, you can.

9. Can I apply for multiple services at one time?

Yes, you can.

10. Is there any limit to number of services I can avail in a day?

No, as long as you stick to the 'terms and conditions' of the portal.

11. Can I apply for a service on somebody else's behalf?

Yes, but as a help and not for making money.

2. As a senior citizen, can I avail services for free?

myAP portal doesn't charge any service fee. You will only pay for the statutory and other Government fee as applicable.

3. Can I use the portal without using Aadhaar?

Aadhaar is mandatory.
